Dr Aoife Murphy

MB BCh BAO MRCP MICGP DTM&H Dip Clin Ed

Dr Aoife Murphy is originally from Co. Kildare and graduated from University College Dublin in 2005. Prior to completing her GP training scheme in Devon in 2013, she gained experience in a wide range of hospital based specialities working locally and overseas in Australia and New Zealand. During this time she achieved membership of the Royal College of Physicians. She also spent time working in Ghana after completing a diploma in tropical medicine.

She has a particular interest in chronic disease management, dermatology and women’s health. She holds an advanced certificate in  contraception, fitting contraception devices such as Implanon and the Mirena intrauterine device.

In her role as an RCSI tutor she supervises medical students. She has a diploma in Clinical Education.

Dr MarTIN Kavanagh

MB BCh BAO MICGP PGC GP Ed

Dr Martin Kavanagh graduated from University College Dublin in 2006. He worked between Ireland and New Zealand before moving to the UK to do GP Specialist Training which he completed in 2013.

He has completed a postgraduate certificate in GP education from the University of Central Lancashire and worked as a GP trainer in the UK. He has 5 years of experience as a GP partner in Manchester. He has joined our team as a founding GP Partner in 2022. He has a special interest in Rheumatology and Dermatology.
